HOW TO REGISTER

On Sept. 24, some of the best cross country teams across the state of Texas will take to the course at Southlakes Park in Denton, Texas for the Garmin MileSplit TX XC Invitational, hosted by Denton Guyer.

With 56 teams already entered, the event could shape up to be one of the best mid-season meets in the highly-competitive Texas cross country landscape.

MileSplit will be on site to report on the exciting action bound to go down, with interviews, photos, articles and other comprehensive event coverage.

Last time out in 2021, the event saw numerous eye-catching performances, including impressive wins by Amy Morefield (Lucas Lovejoy, TX) in the girls elite race in 17:36.30 and former Grapevine (TX) talent Walker St. John out of the boys elite field in 14:57.90. The team races proved intriguing as well as both Morefield's and St. John's individual wins boosted their Lucas Lovejoy girls and Grapevine boys squads to elite division titles.

The 2022 installment of the Garmin MileSplit TX XC Invitational will look to feature exciting competition yet again.

Teams and individuals can register for the meet up until Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. For more information, check out the meet page.
