The Last 3 Years Of Progression From Incoming Senior Girls

As the cross country season nears its start, we continue to examine which of the top athletes have shown some of the most year-to-year progression out on the course.

For many of the best rising seniors, they improved greatly from when they just got started as freshmen three years ago.

For instance, Lily Cridge (Bishop Chatard) enters the fall 2022 season as the fastest member of the class of 2023 for 5k with her 16:22.81 personal best from last year, but she has dropped significant time since her freshman season. In 2019, Cridge dipped just below 18 minutes for 5k with her season best of 17:56.70

Looking at the top 20 incoming seniors, this season could make for one for the record books if they emulate the same year-over-year progression they've shown throughout the course of their high school careers.
