Five girls and six boys made the final rankings for the 2022 MileSplit50 indoor and outdoor seasons, as well as the 2021 MileSplit50 cross country lists released last winter.
Newbury Park senior Colin Sahlman impressively finished as the boys athlete of the year for both the cross country and indoor seasons. He ranks second on the final outdoor lists behind Cade Flatt thanks to numerous sub-4:00 mile races, including a 3:56.24 against professionals at the Prefontaine Classic.
