Most notable include two distance athletes that burst onto the scene quite late--- new American girls 1,600m record holder Addy Wiley and most recent sub-4:00 miler Simeon Birnbaum -- who both accomplished such feats in the month of June. A new national record and a 3:59.51 performance certainly bumped the University of Colorado signee Wiley and South Dakota native Birnbaum onto the last MileSplit50 lists.
