Cade Flatt On History: 'It Always Comes Down To A 200'

Recent Marshall County (KY) High School graduate Cade Flatt set out to break the high school national record in the 800m for the second time this season on Friday at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in Philadelphia.

While the future University of Mississippi half-miler came up just short, lowering his all-time best of 1:46.51 down to 1:46.48 -- still U.S. No. 2 all-time, just three hundredths of a second shy of tying the national record -- he walked away with some thoughts.

Check out what Flatt had to say about the effort.
