HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- Drew Costelow is on a bit of a win streak.
The Valor Christian (CO) junior has won his last four races, on Saturday adding to his resume after claiming the 800m title in 1:51.66 at the RunningLane Track Championships at Milton Frank Stadium.
Since April 20, Costelow has won seven of eight.
Importantly, though, he's coming off the state distance triple at the Colorado State Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where he won the Class 4A titles in the 800m, 1,600m and 3,200m.
Saturday's return to the track only saw Costelow dial in more.
With the margins closing in the final meters, he closed hard in the final straightaway, moving away from runner-up Camden Law (1:52.68) and Davis Plowden (1:52.74).
