Few athletes progressed as much as Micah Larry this year in the long jump.

The Montverde Academy (FL) junior -- and North Carolina native -- unleashed an insane leap of 25-11.5 at the Florida State Championships, solidifying a massive personal record and a nearly four-foot improvement year-over-year.

He wasn't No. 1 on the list of most improved athletes, though.

That honor goes to Yougendy Mauricette, the Sussex Technical (DE) junior who locked down a Delaware state title with his personal record mark of 23-3.5. That presented a 4 foot, 5.5 inch improvement from his previous season.
