PHILADELPHIA  -- It's been four years since Saratoga Springs (NY) last won the Championship of America title in the distance medley relay.

On Thursday, they ran away with the title behind the efforts of Ella Kurto, Alycia Hart, Mackenzie Hart, and Emily Bush.

Kurto kicked off the first high school Championship of America with her 1,200m leg, ushering in a solid 3:37.44 carry before Alycia Hart grabbed the baton for the 400m leg.

Hart executed a 57.75 split to move Saratoga Springs up one spot, taking the lead from Metuchen (NJ).

In the 800m, Mackenzie Hart ran a 2:15.31 and then expanded the lead by over 30 meters before she handed off to Bush, who anchored the team to victory.

Bush crossed the finish with a 11:43.26 on the clock after her 4:52.77 1,600m leg.

This is Saratoga Springs' second Penn Relay title overall.
