Calvert Hall's (MD) Thomas Smith IV hurdled the competition at the Bullis Bulldog Invitational in the 110mH and 300mH.

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was Smith's 300mH performance where he cleared 10 hurdles in 37.68. This lowered the meet record of 38.35 from 2019 by Timmy Odunjo.

The top three finishers were Vaughn DeVaughn III who was second with a 40.33 and Cortez Garrett Jr. was third with a 41.64.

Smith's 300mH execution moved him to Maryland No. 1 and US No. 18.

When it came to the short hurdles, Smith grabbed the victory with a 14.12 (+0.1) to edge out Jason Holmes-Williamson's 14.14. Deondore Hardy was third with a 14.32.

Smith improved on his Maryland No. 2 time of 14.30 which he set at Florida Relays earlier this month.
