Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown senior and Princeton recruit Morgan Monesmith pulled away from the girls mile field on Saturday at the first meet of the Youngstown State High School series, clocking a U.S. No. 6 time of 4:54.77.
Monesmith, who ran 4:53 in the 1,600m and 2:06 in the 800m to end her outdoor campaign in 2021, was the only female under the coveted 5-minute barrier.
