Watch: 60m Finals At Chieftain Center Classic

* This article has been updated. Following review of their video footage and finish line camera, the Logan meet's timing company contacted MileSplit Ohio and informed us that the men's 60m finals top two order of finish has been reversed. Dylan Randall has been declared the race winner with Nathan Newsom being appointed the second spot. The 1st and 2nd place finish times that were originally recorded (6.93 & 6.94) remain the same.

Our recap summary below has been edited accordingly. M. Dwyer

Dylan Randall and Nathan Newsom clocked the state's second and third fastest 60m dash times of the season in the finals contest on Saturday at the Logan Chieftain Center Classic

Randall, a senior from Canal Winchester who won last year's OATCCC Division I State Finale title in the event, prevailed with a 6.93 effort. Newsom, from Granville, went 6.94 for second place in the razor close duel. His time represents a new career best.

The duo trail only Westerville Central's Justin Braun, who posted a 6.75 mark while representing his club team, the Ohio Heat at last month's Sharon-Colyear Danville Opener, hosted by Boston University
