WATCH: John Rutledge Outlasts Jelani Watkins In Epic 200m

Patience is all relative in a 200m final.

But Dallas Highland Park's John Rutledge displayed enough of it on Saturday before making a critical move on the second turn of the banked track to overtake Klein Forest's Jelani Watkins at the Texas A&M Indoor Classic in College Station, Texas, winning the fast section in a U.S. No. 1 time of 21.47.

Watkins followed with a time of 21.50 while Cameron Jackson was third in 21.63. In all, the section provided the fastest times in the country, with each athlete going No. 1, No. 2 and No. 6 in the national rankings.
