In a wild end to the AAU Junior Olympic Games, Jacob Sports Academy out-dueled Greater Houston Track Club to break a 20-year-old record in the 4x400 in 3:08.23.
The Woodlands Christian graduate Connor Washington took the anchor and withstood a brilliant last lap from Georgia recruit Bryce McCray.
Jacob Sports Academy went under the former mark of 3:09.34, which was broken in 2001 by Willingboro Track Club. Great Houston was second in 3:09.55.
