It's state championships time in Illinois and the girls kicked things off this past weekend with some blazing fast times and over 250
Elite Performances.
Normal Community High School's (IL) Allison Ince won both the Class 3A 800m and 1,600m. Her time in the 1,600m was not only a new personal best but also a new Illinois state record time of
4:40.85 and good for which was also good for US No. 4.
