Anthony Schwartz, Former HS Sprint Star, Preps for NFL Draft

When a record is so good, it's hard to beat.

Case in point: Four years after Anthony Schwartz, 20, set a World U18 best in the 100m at the Florida Relays in 2017, hitting a wind-legal time of 10.15 seconds, it still stands today.

But Schwartz's future ultimately didn't lie in track and field once he enrolled at Auburn University in 2018 -- though he did compete one year for the Tigers' track team, finishing sixth in the 100m final at the SEC Championships in 2019.

Schwartz's first love always kept him driven toward his eventual goal.

Three seasons of football within the SEC prepared him for the road he's always envisioned: The NFL.

And now, just a few weeks away from the NFL Draft -- where Schwartz is projected as a third-round pick -- that decision has seemingly paid off for the former American Heritage great. Recently, AL.com profiled Schwartz as he looks ahead to his next stop in football.

Programming note: Schwartz ran a 40 yard time of 4.26 seconds at his Pro Day in March. While not official and not conducted at the NFL Combine, it would have tied as the fourth-fastest 40 yard dash effort in history.

This gave us an idea, too.

We wanted to take a look back at all the coverage we bestowed on Schwartz during his time in Florida and across the United States.

Quick answer: It was a lot.
