HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- Fast times and elite-performances -- even a national 5K best in cross country -- went down in November at the RunningLane Cross Country Championships.
Nearly eight months later, that electricity is expected to return for the RunningLane Track Championships, a unique distance carnival set to take place on a fast track in Alabama.
The team that brought together one of the country's fastest meets this fall is returning with a two-day distance-specific meet from June 11-12. The event will be distance-specific and engineered for fast times and competitive racing.
MileSplit is set to livestream all races exclusively.
In the meantime, make sure to claim your MileSplit profile to fully integrate your performance-history.
The team at RunningLane is hoping to bring together some of the country's top performers and looks to field contigents that could go after potential state- and national-records.
Set to go down just outside Huntsville, the RunningLane Track Championships is accepting elite and open entries for what hopes to be electric boys and girls races at the 800m, mile and 3,200m distances. Early race entries are $25 for the first race and $15 for the second.
Friday action is set for the 3,200m, while Saturday will host 800m and mile runs.
