Throughout the month we've been looking to see who has improved the most from 2020 to 2021 in the various indoor events. Today we look to see who has improved the most in the 3200m.

The boys athlete who has improved the most in the 3200m is Benet Academy's (IL) Niklas Anderson. Anderson had a 2020 season's best time of  11:36.95, he shaved over two minutes off that to run 9:29.48 in 2021. Anderson ran that performance at the Illinois Meet Of Champions Showcase on March 5th.

The most improved female athlete from 2020 to 2021 was Lakewood's (OH) Sophia Monteiro. The sophomore ran 19:02.79 in 2020 and improved her time to 17:13.44 in 2021.

Another female athlete who improved her time and set records along the way was Birmingham Seaholm's (MI) Audrey Dadamio. She ran 10:24.78 her junior year and improved by 33.50 seconds her senior year to run 9:51.28. That time is a Michigan state indoor 3,200m record.
