We've had a fun indoor track and field season.
We've also had a full one, too.
That's not lost on the thousands of athletes and coaches who lost their outdoor seasons in 2020 as fears around COVID-19 raged on. But in some ways, 2021 seems to already be turning the corner.
With it came a truly impressive indoor season that saw multiple national records broken, as well as a wild World U20 record, too. On top of that, states have managed to hold, and then hand out, state championships, while athletes across the country have experienced countless personal best moments.
Through it all, we've been positioning the best boys and girls athletes weekly in our MileSplit50 national rankings. And now, on March 23, we're going to close out the 2021 indoor season as we reveal our final MileSplit50 boys and girls lists.
