Drew Rogers has officially arrived.
The junior from Herscher (IL) High School obliterated his former 1,600m PR of 4:25.19 from 2020, dropping a new US No. 3 performance of 4:11.77 on Friday during the first day of action at the Misfits Invitational in Chicago, Illinois.
A final 200m showdown saw Rogers outkick Indiana prep Lucas Guerra, who was second in 4:12.72. JSerra's Kenny Arriola was thir din 4:13.55 and Angola's Izaiah Steury, who led early, was fourth in 4:19.34.
