We are back with our latest review of the fastest combined 400m and 800m athletes this indoor season. We previously reviewed this list in January.
Since then, some very big things have changed.
Austin Klingler, for instance, has shined over the last few weeks in Utah, putting down two U.S. top six performances in both the 400m and 800m. Klingler, Ethan Strand and Adam Mason are the only boys under 2:42 combined in both events.
Meanwhile, when reviewing girls results, Sophia Gorriaran's spectacular season continues to indicate just how good she's been: She's the only female under three minutes total in both events. The fact that she's the only one isn't the incredible part ...it's the fact that she's under three minutes. Comparatively, only 95 boys have achieved that feat this season.
