This spring should be pretty interesting. But that might be underselling it.
With many state athletic associations finding ways to safely hold events, it's unliklely that we'll see another complete shut-down to competition across the United States -- though it's possible some states will opt out -- which means for the first time in a year we could begin to see what we missed from 2020.
That means athletes who have been itching to compete could get their wishes granted in 2021.
Last year wasn't a complete wash, though, either. Hundreds of athletes -- who were doing so unattached -- were able to perform in event specific states, and last year we saw some tremendous performances, including a new sophomore national class record in the 200m by Erriyon Knighton.
