SPIRE Ohio Championship Preview Meet: Girls 800m, Heat 1
Shady Side Academy's (PA) Melissa Riggins, Ann Arbor Pioneer's (MI) Rachel Forsyth and Mount Gilead's (PA) Allison Johnson competed in one of the fastest 800m fields this season outside of The VA Showcase.
All three posted times inside the top 15 in the country.
Riggins, a Georgetown University signee, clocked the fastest time of the trio with her 2:10.47, which ranks US No. 5. Forsyth finished second in 2:12.95, good for US No. 9, while Johnson -- a Penn State recruit -- took home third in 2:13.39, good for US No. 11.
