
Katina Davis, 48, is a married mother of two and a track and field coach based in Charlotte, North Carolina, who works in the tech industry. Her youngest child, Kayla, is a 17-year-old national-class sprinter who has won titles at both the United States U20-level and at the Pan-American U20 Championships. Her oldest son, Jesiah, is an NCAA Division I signee in football for the University of Virginia. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, she ran the 200m and 400m for the University of Iowa in the early 90s. Katina wrote this Parent's Perspective for MileSplit in January, 2021.
