Many of the nation's best athletes signed National Letters of Intent on Nov. 11, and in the days to follow. 

However, the journey to National Signing Day was far from easy for these athletes.

Due to COVID-19, the recruiting process many athletes had grown to expect was not the process they experienced. In fact, instead of red-carpet treatment from powerhouse programs, the Class of 2021 had to combat issues no other signing class had ever faced. 

For University of Oklahoma signee Jania Hodges, deciding which program was best without ever stepping foot on campus, or without officially meeting coaches and teammates, was the hardest part.
