This offseason has been filled with uncertainty.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced colleges and high schools alike to alter their plans for the upcoming fall semester and make difficult decisions as to whether or not they will have athletics. 

This has left us with plenty of questions, specifically as to what will happen if high school and college athletics are canceled.

However, the past few weeks have produced updates that aren't quite as doomsday-esque, at least not at the NCAA Division I level -- or in the form that some of us were initially expecting.

Both the BIG 10 and PAC-12 have announced that they will adopt conference-only schedules for fall sports this year while the ACC has allowed schools to schedule cross country meets "at their discretion."

The SEC has also announced that it will be adopting a conference-only schedule for football this year. A start date for cross country competition...
