In a world without a pandemic endangering the upcoming cross country season, which incoming freshman women do we think could redshirt the 2020 cross country season?

Taylor Ewert (Arkansas)


Much like Nico Young, I have suggested that Taylor Ewert, the reigning Gatorade National Cross Country Runner Of The Year, could redshirt this fall for a while now. The Arkansas women are the defending cross country national champions and have historically been one of the better teams in the NCAA.

However, according to TFRRS, the Razorbacks will be losing top scorers such as Katie Izzo, Taylor Werner, Devin Clark and Carina Viljoen from last year's lineup. That's four All-Americans who finished inside the top 30 at the NCAA Cross Country Championships last year.
