When it comes to high school athletics, Texas is best known for its football tradition.

But while high school football captures most of the headlines in the Lone Star State, it would be hard to dismiss just what kind of potential resides in another area of athletics.

The state's incredible sprint talent. 

As we take a glance at the Class of 2021 and look at which sprinters will be garnering the most attention by college coaches, it's hard to ignore the fact that most of the top boys recruits hail from the state of Texas.

Let's start with Connor Washington, a rising senior with The Woodlands College Park and MileSplit's No. 2 ranked recruit in the Class of 2021, behind only Nathan Green.
