We're in the middle of a series looking at the top all-time combined athletes in throws, hurdles, distance, sprints, and jumps. Today we're looking at the top javelin and hammer athletes.
Leading the way for the top all-time girls javelin and hammer thrower is 2018 Kentlake High School's graduate Jordan Fong. Fong has a combined mark of 306 feet 111 inches. Her two marks that combined for the top all-time mark are 129'4" in the javelin and 177'7" in the hammer.
The top all-time guys javelin and hammer thrower is 2005 La Salle Academy (RI) graduate Matthew Maloney.
Maloney has the top combined mark of 444 feet 11 inches. His top mark in the javelin was 231-5 while his top mark in the hammer was 213-6.
