We are in a renaissance of sorts when it comes to girls throwers at the high school level.

The country recently saw athletes such as Monique Hardy and Maria Deaviz dominate the throws this past winter, securing all-time marks and massive personal bests.

As a new era of girls throwers near the college recruiting stage of their high school careers, we thought it would be beneficial to evaluate some of the top field talents (specifically in the throws) for the winter and spring of 2021.

Who knows? Maybe these athletes could make similar headlines in a year's time.

It's easy to look at the shot put national rankings from this past indoor season and be distracted by Maria Deaviz's incredible PR of 51-10.75.
