Mansfield Lake Ridge's (TX) Jasmine Moore not only had the furthest triple jump in the nation in 2017, but she also the broke the sophomore triple jump national record... twice. She first broke the record with a jump of 43-4.75 at the UIL Track and Field Championships. Just one month later, she soared to 43-7.25 to break her own record and win the New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Since her freshman year of high school, she was ranked within the top three in the nation for the triple jump during the outdoor season and led the country every year, besides her freshman year, during the indoor season. She is one of the most decorated jumpers in history.
