Namir Hemphill wants colleges to know that his potential is boundless.
On the surface, the California native and Upland (CA) High School senior was one of the best triple jumpers in the country over the 2019 season, scoring a wind-legal mark of 48 feet, 8.5 (-0.5) inches at the Mt. SAC Relays last April.
But he also did a little bit of everything. He ran 37.50 seconds in the 300mH -- the 45th best effort in the country -- and was just an inch shy of reaching 24 feet in the long jump, and he posted a time of 51.24 seconds in the 400m.
