Ballard High Schools (WA) Lianne Kistler

We used the MileSplit database to see who the top returning pole vaulters will be in 2020 based on 2019 marks. At the top of the rankings on the boys side is Butler High School (OH) senior Dalton Shepler while on the girls side it's Ballard High School (WA) junior Lianne Kistler.

Shepler vaulted 16 feet 10 inches last year as a junior. He won the Ohio Division 1 Region 4 meet with that mark. He had seven other marks all 16 feet or better during the 2019 outdoor season. He has committed to attend the University of Kentucky next fall. Kistler as a sophomore vaulted 14-1 last outdoor season which was a sophomore national class record. This season as a junior she holds the top returning performance.
