* Woonsocket's Tarik Robinson-o'hagan is the top sophomore shot put thrower in the country

- - -

No one has thrown farther and improved as much as Tarik Robinson-o'hagan year-over-year.

The Woonsocket (RI) High School sophomore has improved dramatically from his freshman season in the shot put, adding nearly 16-feet from his personal best a season ago. While he's one of 107 athletes who has improved at least 10 feet in the shot put in 2020, he's one of only six who have thrown farther than 55 feet. And his improvement, in particular, is tops among that group.

Currently ranked No. 31 in the country with a mark of 57 feet, 6.5 inches, Robinson-o'hagan owns the top sophomore mark in the country and continues to improve.

He's one of nearly 1,500 athletes across the country who have added distance to their best mark in 2019. Check the rest of the field in the links below.
