It's awards season for cross country.
And on Monday, Gatorade announced winners of its statewide Player of the Year awards, with the first release covering the girls cross country season.
Note: Gatorade does not change its terminology across its awards program to reflect 'Runner of the Year.'
In two weeks, Gatorade will announce boys winners from each state.
