Buhler Invitational (KS): Adam Porter of McPherson runs a blistering 15:18 5K, winning by over a minute. Recently ran a 15:55 at the J.K. Gold Classic.

 

Venice Invitational (FL):  The Community School of Naples lit up the Venice Invitational with a 33-101 victory over the field with a 19:18 average.  Naples took the top-3 places with Katheryn Fluer taking the win in 17:11, Erika Fluer finishing 2nd in 17:26, and Vivian Grimes running 3rd in 18:59. Flashrock XC Invite (IN): US #5 Futsom Zeinasellasse, North Central, won the Varsity Blue Division with a time of 15:22.7.  The Boys Green Division was loaded with Hale O'Herren, Cathedral, winning a tight finish with a time of 15:19.1.  Jason Crist, Franklin Central, and Scott Vicenzi, Brownsburg, finished 2-3 with times of 15:20.3 and 15:20.7.  Dani Sullivan, Franklin Central, won the Girls Green Division with a time of 18:26.9.  Frosh Anna Voskuil, Bloomington South, won the Girls Blue Division with a time of 18:34.0.  Meet Page

 

Woodbridge Invitational (CA): US#7 Royal upsets US#2 Arcadia in the team championship. Previously unranked John Bosco would finish second place as Arcadia placed third. Royal posted a 14:51 3-mile average over the course in the Sweepstakes race. John Bosco averaged 15:01 as Arcadia averaged 14:58. US#1 Saugus breezes to victory with an impressive 17:14 3-mile average. Saugus was simply dominant! Meet Results

 

Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational (KY): Both boys and girls races were fast up front with 6 boys faster than 15:30 and 4 girls faster than 18:30.  Tyler Byrne, North Harrison, won the boys race with a time of 15:09.78.  Ryan Eaton, Greenwood, finished 2nd in 15:16.15.  Carmel HS, put 3 in the top-8 to win the boys team title with 68 points.  Emma Brink, Sacred Heart Academy, won the girls race with a 17:57.36.  Carmel girls also won in a landslide with 4 in the top-14 to record 58 points.  Meet Coverage Here

 

Heartland Classic (KS): Andrew Stevens of Shawnee Mission South wins with a impressive 15:31 5K narrowly defeating Frank Canady out of Iowa City West who finished runnerup in 15:36. Meet Results

 

Witchita Southeast Invitational (KS): Avery Clifton breezes to US#1 4K in 13:48 as Kaelyn Balch finished second with a US#2 14:01 4K over a legit course. Read the Meet Story   Meet Results

 

Briarwood Invitational (PA):

Joe Rosa,(Photo by Don Rich, PennTrackXC.com) WWPN, breaks his own course record with a time of 15:19.3 in the Boys Championship Division on a notoriously difficult course.  West Windsor Plainsboro North won the Boys Championship title with a 63-69 win over PA#2 LaSalleJim Rosa(NJ) was 2nd in 15:38.0 and Brad Miles, North Penn, was 3rd in 15:49.7.  Arlington(NY) girls upend US#10 Tatnall by a score of 50-53.  Arlington's strength was in Hayley McMahon and Rachel Sorna's 1-2 punch up front with times of 19:14.0 and 19:14.2.  Meet Page

 

Farragut Super-1 Invitational (ID): US#15 Cody Helbling storms to victory in 16:29 over a brutal 5000 meter course. To put his time into perspective, former Ferris, WA standout Isaac Hawkins holds the course record at 15:59. US#11 Kinsey Gomez wins by 71 seconds with an incredible 19:35. The fast rising Northern Idaho #1 Couer d' Alene Vikings are getting better each week. The Vikings dominated with 28 points, placing 5 runners in the top 10. It would seem there is a chance that Idaho has two top 25 national cross country teams, Milesplit currently has Couer d' Alene ranked 26th in the nation. Meet Page

 

Highlander Invitational (WA): US#16 Adam Thorne runs a blistering 12:25 2.5 mile! Over a hilly, very difficult course the Ferris senior set the pace impressively. Course is said to be more difficult than Vanny. Running individual flights by grade class, just in the senior race they placed 5 in the top 20. The #2 and #3 runners placed in seperate class races. US#15 Kamiakin had a solid second despite 4 of 7 down with severe flu. Coach says, "We will be ready for Sunfair". Roosevelt Heartland Classic (IA): US#11 Dowling Catholic is narrowly defeated by Iowa City Meet Page

 

Cedar Park Invitational (TX): US#3 Cedar Park averaged 15:42 over 5000 meters to claim the team title with 26 points at the Texas supermeet placing 6 runners in the top 11! US#10 Parker Stinson claimed the individual title with a superb 15:12 5K. Meet Page

 

 

Provo Bulldog Invitational (UT): US#10 American Fork wins the invitational scoring 27 points to the UT#2 Pineview 67 and UT#3 Mountain View 86. With 4 in the top 5 and 5 in the top 15, American Fork is letting the nation know they are a contendar.  Meet Page

 

Reebok Wolfpack Invitational (NC)Wesley Frazier, Ravenscroft, (Photo by Prettysporty.com) dominated yet another invitational, this time recording a time of 17:10 for 5000 meters to win the Girls Championship division.  Carolyn Baskir, East Chapel Hill, finished 2nd with a time of 17:24.  TC Roberson won the girls team title with 102 points.  Jake Hurysz, Eastern Alamance, won the Boys Championship race with a time of 15:12.  Thomas Graham, Cary Academy, finished 2nd in 15:15.  Meet Page

 

Richard Spring Classic (Il):  Pat Lesiewicz, Schaumburg, lit up the 3 mile course with a time of 14:25 to claim victory by 10 seconds over Nico Composto, Loyola Academy, 14:35.  Britten Petrey, Schaumburg, won the girls 3 mile race with a time of 17:11.

 

UTSA Invitational (TX): US#14 Boerne Champion dominates in the huge 28 team meet. Scoring a super low 27 points and a mind boggling 15:43 average over 5000 meters! Boerne placed all seven varsity scorers in the top 11 with all 7 sub 16 minutes for 5000 meters! With individual standout Jacob Benn's 15:11 victory the Champions will definitly move up in the national rankings. Meet Page

 

George Young Invitational (AZ): US#3 Jessica Tonn (Sr, Xavier College Prep) (Photo by Margot Kelly) wins her 4th straight consecutive George Young title on a very hilly course on a very HOT day!  Tonn and teammate Sarah Fakler (Fr), who took second, led the Xavier girls to a team victory.  Article    Meet Page Results and Photos    

 

Mt. Carmel Invitational (CA): US#9 Torrey Pines storms to victory with 71 points dominating the 50 team meet! Rancho Bernardo junior Molly Grabill (photo right by Gabriel Santanasets a new course record of 14:48 over the 2.65 mile course. US#3 Elias Geydon runs to 14:55 over the 2.95 mile course.  Meet Page

Hartford Riverfront Invitational (CT): Burnt Hills girls recorded an impressive victory with 46 points and 5 runners inside the top-17.  Heidi Caldwell, Hanover, recorded a victory in a course record time of 18:22.5.  A Hanover runner also took the boys race with Aaron Watanabe recording a 36 second victory in a time of 15:42.6.  The Hanover boys rode that momentum to a 41-46 point victory over Xavier

 

Liberty Bell Invitational (CO): US#5 Albequerque Academy rolls past all competition placing all five scorers in the top 25. Cherry Creek, CO senior US#12 Walter Shafer (Photo by Rick Wilson) won in 15:04 over 5K. US#13 Fort Collins girls win with 48 points. UF Mountain Dew Invitational (FL):  Dr. Phillips won the boys race over Hoover(AL), with a team score of 72 points, 35 clear of Hoover.  Elliot Clemente, Belen Jesuit Prep, won the individual title with a time of 16:00.37.  Lakewood Ranch girls took down Winter Park 95-108.  Meet Page

 

Spartan Invitational (MI): Megan Goethals, Rochester, continues to win big with a 30 second victory over Sara Kroll, Livonia Churchill, with a time of 17:22.  Michael Atchoo, Troy, lit up the boys race with a winning time of 15:38.  Omar Kaddurah, Grand Blanc, was 2nd with a time of 15:55.  Meet Page and Results

 

 

MSTCA McIntyre XC Invitational (MA):  Jenna Davidner, Oliver Ames, won the Girls Division I race with a time of 18:31 to win by 41 seconds.  Alanna Poretta, Pentucket, won the Girls Division II race with a time of 18:39.  John Bleday, Xaverian Brothers, won the Boys Division I race with a time of 15:54.  Dana Dourdeville, Old Rochester, and Max Darrah, Dennis-Yarmouth, made the Boys Division II race interesting, crossing the line together in 15:58 with Dana the winner.  Meet Page
