The 2010s: FLRunners All-Decade XC Athletes & Programs

Florida Girls Program Of The Decade

While all-star individuals can come and go, it takes a whole program to win a team title. We narrowed down which team was the most consistently dominant over the past decade, regardless of individual talent, although it does help the overall strength of a program. This team was not only strong in a single year, but over each year within the decade -- a testament to the coaching and the talent.

Team: Bolles

Head Coach: Tony Ryan

Major Wins: FHSAA 2A Cross Country Champions 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, FHSAA 2A Cross Country Runner-up 2010, 2011, 2016, 2017, 2019.

Coach Tony Ryan and the Bolles ladies have singlehandedly dominated this decade of cross country in the state of Florida. In the past ten years, they have placed top two at the state meet every year. More impressive? Their top five girls on the varsity squad is constantly shifting -- a testament to the talent and culture that Ryan and the Bolles staff has built at the Jacksonville powerhouse.
