New Balance Nationals Outdoor 5,000m champion Robbie Cozean has announced his commitment to the University of Notre Dame.

Cozean made the decision to join the Fighting Irish after winning the Wickham Park Invitational in 15:35 last Saturday. The Xavier High School senior has scored personal records twice out of the three times thus far this cross country season. His new PR is 28 seconds faster than his 2019 debut in September.

The Connecticut distance runner is currently No. 19 on the MileSplit 50 XC Rankings and No. 32 on the MileSplit 2020 Top Recruiting Rankings.
