We're in the thick of the cross country season, and it won't be long until athletes gear up for qualifying races ahead of Foot Locker Nationals. We took a look to see who in the West region has run fast times so far this year.

Newbury Park High School (CA) Nico Young holds the fastest 3-mile time in the West region. The senior ran a 14:08.82 to win the Marmonte League Meet #1. The current fastest 5K time is held by Eisenhower Senior High School (WA) Jonas Price. Price ran 15:02.15 at the Ash Creek XC Festival.
