Cross country season is fast approaching, which means MileSplit is going to begin providing lists of the top returning classes heading into 2019.

The top three returning junior girls at 5K are ridiculously talented. With one full season dedicated to distance running, Denton Guyer (TX) junior Brynn Brown has become a dominant force in Texas. Katy City Ranch (TX) junior Heidi Nielson will follow up her incredibly successful sophomore campaign -- she made USA U20 teams -- with even more punch in 2019. And let's not forget about Marianapolis Preparatory's Sydney Masciarelli, who's the defending Foot Locker Nationals Champion.
