Girls 500 Meter Dash

Georgetown Day's Ziyah Holman is the top seed in the event, sporting a personal best of 1:15 that won her a DCSAA state title last winter. Like last year (Holman finished seventh with a 1:18.72 performance), the field will be stacked around her, as Mount de Sales' Bella Whittaker has yet to lose a race this season in any event and leads all Maryland runners in the 500 at 1:15.91. Severna Park's Emily Knight, Franklin's Jasmine Johnson and C.H. Flowers' Dejah Grant have all run under 1:17 as well.
