Why: This shot put competition will feature the No. 1 shot putter in the nation in Innovation Academy's Aiden Felty. Felty holds the top mark in the nation right now with his 67-foot toss from the Boston Holiday Challenge. The senior could face competition from some of New England and the Northeast's best, including current U.S. No. 9 and NY No. 1 Jon Surdej and his teammates from Lancaster (NY) and U.S. No. 4 Jason Montano from Thornton Academy (ME).
