20. Arcadia's ridiculous national-class 3200 meter race

It was an insane field in the championship final of the boys 3200m at the Arcadia Invitational. And with no shortage of wild surges, the race produced the top times in the country and a ridiculous amount of national-caliber performances to boot. The top Canadian in the field, Marcus Kemp, eventually out-kicked his competitors for a win in 8:50.95, surging past Broomfield (CO) High School's Michael Mooney. A total of 16 boys broke 9 minutes in the field and 25 broke 9:10.
