Foot Locker Regionals By The Numbers

South

  • Texas qualified six girls for nationals, the most ever to come from the Lone Star State. Texas has never produced a female Foot Locker National Champion despite having the fourth most qualifiers in Foot Locker history.
  • Camren Fischer, who was Arkansas's first male qualifier in 2017, qualified again in 2018.
  • The average runner in the boys race ran 38 seconds slower than their season best time. Jake Renfree and David Ahlmeyer both ran season best times to clinch a spot on the line at nationals.
  • Graydon Morris qualified for Foot Locker Nationals for the third time. If he were to qualify again next year, he would join Jorge Torres, Adam Goucher, and Eric Henry as the only four-time qualifiers on the boys side. Morris will be the only athlete on the boys starting line this year lining up for his third Foot Locker Nationals.
