There were a handful of incredible performances this weekend, from a US No. 1 boys effort at the 5K in Wisconsin, to a top 10 effort and career best out of a Texan at 3-miles, to a superb outing from an Illini female at 3-miles.
But there's no question who won the weekend.
That honor belongs to North Rockland (NY) High School junior Katelyn Tuohy, who rocked the Ocean State Invitational with a meet, course and national best at 5K. She ran 16:06.87, which is the fastest time ever recorded for a girl in cross country at the distance.
