Ian Fitzgerald, North Hills, is definitely ready for the Penn Relays. He doubled Friday night at the Butler Invitational, going 4:14.5 for 1600 and 1:57.5 for 800. Sharon's Auston Papay is upping the Shot Put already, posting a 63-9 performanance. He also won the Discus with a toss of 160-9. And Butler's Calvin Littlejohn sent a message to the rest of the state in the horizontal jumps, clearing 46-5 in the Triple and 22-10.5 to take the Long, plus he cleared 604 in the High. And Justin King, Gateway, won the 100 in 11.0, but injured his hamstring in the 4x400. North Allegheny takes the 4x800 in 8:08.5. Three guys were over 176' in the Javelin, Doug Dahlstrand, McDowell, 177-2, Justin Moose, Norwin, 176-10, and Tyler Sweet, Warren, 176-7.
