The Top Five Women's Recruiting Classes Of The Early Signing Period

Future Michigan Wolverine Olivia Theis talks to MileSplit about her performance at the 2016 Foot Locker XC Championships.

#2: University of Michigan

Recruits: Madison Brand, Maddy Denner, Anne Forsyth, Jessi Larson, Aurora Rynda (Canada), Amanda Schaare, Olivia Theis, Megan Worrel

The Skinny: If we were just ranking distance classes, the Wolverines would undoubtedly come in first. Theis is ranked No. 3 in the Flo50 and No. 10 on MileSplit's recruiting big board. Her 16:52.1 is the fastest 5K in the history of the Michigan state XC meet, she also owns state titles in the 1600M and the 3200M, and she placed second in the two-mile at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in June with a time of 10:14.34.

Forsyth is also a Michigan state XC champion and placed second in the mile at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in June. Denner has run 10:15.18 for 3200M and 16:58.7 for 5K, Worrel is a 2:11.59 800M runner, and Larson just placed fourth at the Michigan state XC meet.
