Weekend Rundown: Katelyn Tuohy Smashes Manhattan Record With 13:21.8 4K


Farmington (MN) High sophomore Anne Fenske is hitting form just at the right time. 

The NXN qualifier from last year won the South Suburban Conference Championships on Friday in a season best 17:59, leading her Farmington squad to a conference title with a low of 39 points. 

Fenske took command of the race and finished well ahead of second-place Brianne Brewster of Lakeville, who crossed the line in 18:44.50.

Fenske, who won the Minnesota State High School League Class AA title last year as a freshman, is 26 seconds ahead of pace from last year and will head into the MSHSL Section Championships before another run at the state championships in November.
