It's going to be a wild weekend in cross country action across the country.
This is arguably our biggest slate of meets yet, with teams vying for championships all over the nation, including at big meets like McQuaid (New York), Great Louisville (Kentucky), Desert Twilight (Arizona) and more.
But rain may force some to delay or readjust schedules. One meet in Texas, the McNeil Invitational, has already cancelled its annual event from heavy rain into the area of Round Rock -- which is where the state course is held every year.
That ultimately will sideline some epic performances, but don't worry ... there's plenty more throughout the country. Check out seven of our favorite meets heading into the weekend in the slideshow.
