Girls: Blue Valley North High School (KS)
Who Individuals:
Boys: Victor Mugeche (Blue Springs, MO), Ryan Riddle (Webb City, MO)
Girls: Victoria Findley (Blue Springs, MO)
Why: The Rim Rock Classic never disappoints with some of the nation's top athletes showing up to compete each year. On the boys individual side, there will be two of the best from Missouri hitting the course in Blue Springs's Victor Mugeche and Webb City's Ryan Riddle. Mugeche was the Missouri class 5A 1600m third-place finisher (4:19.49) and 3200m runner-up (9:20.12). He was also ninth at the Festival of Miles, running 4:18.83. Riddle also competed at the Missouri Class 4A state championships winning the 3200m running 9:06.07 and finishing second in the 1600m (4:14.67). Both of these athletes have run 15:16 or faster for 5K.
