If the AAU Junior Olympic Games produces stars before they become stars, then keep an eye out for Jonathan Simms, a 10-year-old from Dallas, who is a rising talent in the world of track and field. A year ago, Simms tripled in the 200m, 400m, and 800m, and this year he's looking to do the same. Check out his resume below.
Who: Jonathan Simms
Age Group: Boys 10-year-olds
Events: 200m, 400m, 800m
Where: AAU Junior Olympic Games (Ypsilanti, Michigan)

Breakdown: Simms, who runs for the North Dallas Community Baptist Fellowship Eternal Impact Track Club, will be going for a vaunted triple across three largely different events for the second straight year. Can he do it? Simms is a special young talent, so don't be surprised if he makes it happen. It will be interesting -- and entertaining -- to see just what takes place. A year ago, Simms tripled in the boys 9-year-old division at the AAU Junior Olympic Games, winning the 200m (27.42), 400m (59.41), and 800 (2:19.43).
